This weekender will feature Jazz Dance of all styles and tempos from the fastest Fusion and Be-Bop to Jazz Juice favourites and Bossa. Something for everybody who love to dance to Jazz. You will have access to all the Salsa rooms too.
Along with the Jazz Dance sessions we’re featuring a special Saturday afternoon Soul session in the Warwick Bar with Colin, Dr Bob and special guest, legendary Soul DJ Andy Davies, and Sunday night will be our big Jazz Funk revival (incl. Jazz breaks) with our all-star team and a special guest tba.
The weekend pass is £90 and is for the event ONLY. Accommodation is NOT included.

We are very proud to announce a spectacular twice-yearly Jazz Dance weekender as part of the LATINFEST SALSA WEEKENDER in beautiful Torquay, Devon.

In amongst an already sold-out vibrant Salsa event with three packed ballrooms, the Jazz Dance action takes place at the Victoria Hotel in the TLH Holiday Resort in another beautiful ballroom with a big sprung dancefloor hosted by Snowboy, called THE JAZZATERIA from 9pm Friday until 2am Sunday night/Monday morning. Jazz Dance and Salsa are the perfect combination so it’s going to be incredible.

The Victoria Hotel is situated in Belgrave Rd where there are at least 50 Hotels and B&B’s no more than a 30 second to 2 minute walk away from the venue. In the future we will recommend them once we have checked them out. Meanwhile, please Google. There is NO accommodation available at the Victoria.

Band on the Wall and Jazz FM bring you a Funky Sensation club night of pumping disco and funk beats bathed in a summer haze from the mightySunburst Band. Produced by dance music pioneer Joey Negro (Jakatta/Hedboys), they feature members drawn from the higher reaches of funkdom with vocals by ex-Raw Stylus soul queen Donna Gardier and The Elektrons' Pete Simpson. Followed by late night funk party featuring Jazz FM'sMike Vitti and special guest Colin Curtis at the decks until the early hours.
A Funky Sensation Event in association with Jazz FM - Funky Sensation does exactly what it says on the tin. It captures that funky sensation feeling inside you. Featuring the greatest music in soul and funk it also captures the groovy sounds of jazz and funky house. Having gained great success in London, Funky Sensation is now bringing it's vibe to Manchester at Band on the Wall.
This event will begin at 9pm. Picturehouse Cafe Bar open for delicious food and drinks from 5.30pm.
