Soulacoaster is the debut album from Soulpersona. The album features Princess Freesia, Darien (Reel People), Kia Bennett (D’Angelo), Sibel Thrasher from the legendary RAMP, Deborah Jordan (Silouette Brown), Replife and Juliette Ashby.
Soulacoaster was produced almost entirely through the internet in collaboration with singers from across the globe. First the backing tracks were sent to the vocalists, then they wrote and arranged the vocals and sent them back via email. SoulP mixed and arranged the tracks, made little tweaks here and there and Soulacoaster was ready to ride.
Soulacoaster is a project that has had no music industry intervention, it's heartfelt, soulful, and straight to the point. It is produced only for the love of soul, raregroove, jazz funk, disco and hip hop... Musical elements that are instrumental in SoulP’s inspiration as a musician and producer. It’s a blend of all the above styles, mixed into a Soulacoaster ride that hopefully you can enjoy, at any time, over and over again.

KIA BENNETT Kia was introduced to Soulpersona by John Manuel the drummer and band leader of RAMP. He sent the instrumental of “So Natural” to Kia, and she laid the goodness on top. After hearing how “So Natural” turned out, SoulP then sent her “Lifetime” and another supa hot ballad was born. Kia has been a session singer for many years and most notably backing vocalist for D’Angelo.

DEBORAH JORDAN
Deborah and SoulP met through Replife, they came to the Digisoul studio one afternoon and wrote “Home” with SoulP and Mark Rapson. This collaboration led to Deborah featuring on two songs, the haunting “Flying Easy” and the effortless “Weightless”.
Deborah is well known with her work with Silhouette Brown and her LP “The Light” is out now and available on itunes.
SIBEL THRASHER
Sibel and SoulP got together through RAMP, and band leader John Manuel. Sibel told SoulP that she had a couple of tracks she wrote back in 1979 while she was recording the “Come Into Knowledge” album, but didn’t have any music to go with them.
SoulP sent her the 70’s inspired “In Your Eyes” and the dreamy “Imagine” where Sibel lays down her craft like a seasoned pro. Sibel, best known for her work with Sharon Matthews and RAMP on classic cut's like "Daylight" "Come Into Knowledge" and "Everybody Loves The Sunshine" can be found on RAMP's 1979 LP "Come Into Knowledge" available on itunes.

JULIETTE ASHBY SoulP met Juliette through a close friend, she came to SoulP’s studio one day, liked a track that SoulP had given a working title of “Get My Shit Together” Juliette then wrote the hook actually calling it “Get My Shit Together”, and when she’d finished it SoulP realised it had to be a part of Soulacoaster... cos it’s a real hip-shaker.
